360insights’ 2020 Year in Review: How Staying True to Our Mission Positioned Us Better Than Ever Before

The year 2020 threw a lot at us. From a once-in-a-generation global pandemic that rocked every part of our personal and professional lives to a seismic social justice movement that forced us to reflect on ourselves and our communities, 2020 was one test after another. We’ve all faced challenges before but never on this scale and duration. However, as Albert Einstein famously proclaimed, “In the middle of a difficulty lies opportunity.”

Our present character and future success are defined by how we overcome even the most difficult challenges. For 360insights, we stuck to what we know best: commitment to our employees, dedication to our clients and customers, devotion to serving our local and global communities and a continued mission to grow through unmatched innovation. All of these combined efforts created an environment of expansion and growth for our 360 team this year – something we can all take great pride in.

 

Explosive Growth

We saw explosive growth through acquisitions and became a $100 million + company – solidifying our position as the largest pure-play Channel Incentives Management (CIM) platform provider globally.

360insights acquired U.K.-based CR Worldwide, a global powerhouse sales incentives solutions provider. CR Worldwide built a reputation of excellence, a team of experienced and savvy professionals and a suite of products and services that have helped some of the world’s largest brands achieve sales success. The acquisition has enabled 360insights to expand our global workforce, reach and customer base, while increasing key capabilities, including point-based loyalty solutions and multi-language solutions.

The acquisition of Arkansas-based Perks WW further amplified 360insights’ presence across North America and beyond, while also positioning the company as the largest pure-play CIM providers in the world. Perks WW was a known leader for its tech stack, UI/UX-focused offerings, data insights and ease of use, all with a broad and diverse user base that exceeded 14 million users. These unique capabilities coupled with its expert team members have been seamlessly integrated into 360insights’ growing channel incentives ecosystem.

 

New Products, Solutions and Innovations

 We created the TMT practice group to specifically leverage our Channel Success Platform, to empower technology, media and telecom brands to optimize all incentives management from one central system. This strategic and targeted practice unit allows for greater channel engagement and motivation while improving ROI through measurable insights. Our TMT practice significantly expands our channel offerings and leadership position in these key verticals, through an expanded team of channel strategists, subject matter experts and data scientists.

 Additionally, we couldn’t be more excited about the introduction of our new Charitable Giving Solution, which is available to all clients free of charge. An industry first, the feature offers consumers a way to give back, while also enabling brands to emotionally connect with their consumers on a deeper level. Integrated into our Channel Success Platform, we can now enable our consumers to donate all or a portion of their consumer rebate payment to the cause of their choice and receive an official tax receipt. While these solutions are more relevant now than ever as organizations navigate the global pandemic, we continue to provide them to clients at no cost because it’s part of our DNA.

We also continued to make significant enhancements to our Channel Success Platform, the first truly integrated SaaS solution that automates incentive programs while gathering valuable channel insights. Answering the call of our customers’ demands, the single-pane-of-glass platform automates CIM and includes channel data management (CDM), closed-loop reporting (CLR), through-channel marketing automation (TCMA) and partner relationship marketing (PRM), helping our customers plan for, predict and achieve success.

 

New Business Wins

We saw a lot of great business wins this year, including Goodyear, American Standard, NetApp, Miele and SAS. From the world’s leading tire company to a global data analytics powerhouse, these B2B, B2B2C and B2C organizations engaged 360insights for our superior Channel Incentive Management (CIM) solutions delivered through our award-winning Channel Success Platform.

 

Ecosystem Alliances

 In 2020, we also developed and expanded relationships with our valued and strategic partners, including Impartner, SproutLoud and Zift. Each of these partners bring something different, but very much valued to the table. Impartner is working with us in tandem to bolster our indirect channel offerings through Channel Sales Enablement. As a top SaaS-based through-channel marketing automation platform, SproutLoud offers software, service and solutions to increase brand sales through partners in local markets. Our partner Zift helps boost channel sales and marketing impact by offering global channel support and strategic insight.

 

In Conclusion

As I reflect on the year that has passed, I can’t help but be proud and grateful. I’m proud of our 360insights team and our grit and resolve in the midst of really tough changes, including a mass transition to remote work. I’m proud of our continued innovation that never slowed down, even as the world seemed to be slowing around us. I’m proud of our commitment to our mission and vision, which never wavered in the midst of roadblocks and challenges. And most of all, I’m proud of the collective business community, our partners, our vendors and everyone that helps us become better at what we do.
