Ep. 32 – Taylor Macdonald on Partner Enablement: Simple, Not Easy

Taylor Macdonald is SVP of Channel Sales at Sage Intacct Inc. and has some “sage” advice for those of us working to help our partners down the digital enablement path. “It all starts with the website,” he notes, likening a partner’s web properties to the offices of old and how a company’s site can project credibility and competence…or not.

Taylor is responsible for managing the Sage Intacct Value Added Reseller (VAR) and CPA channel initiatives. Taylor has more than 20 years of experience building and operating some of the largest and most successful channel programs in the world for financial and ERP providers, including Deltek and Sage.

Taylor founded Macdonald Consulting Group in 1990 and was named Sage Software’s top worldwide business partner seven years in a row. Taylor was also named a Top Channel Executive from VARBusiness and Top 50 Channel Champion from CRN for three consecutive years. It’s safe to say that he knows the channel from end-to-end.
