Jody Mitic served in the Canadian Army as a sniper. He lost both of his legs in a landmine incident while fighting in the War in Afghanistan in 2007.
During his recovery, Mitic worked through some of his psychological issues with a computer program named Ellie, which tracks facial expressions and speech patterns to diagnose post-traumatic stress disorder and depression.
As part of his physical rehabilitation, Mitic successfully recovered and ran in an Achilles Canada 5-km run with prosthetic legs. In 2013, he and his brother Cory competed in The Amazing Race Canada, finishing in 2nd place. Following his appearance on the Amazing Race, Mitic became a motivational speaker and an advocate for wounded veterans and people with disabilities.
Jay McBain is an accomplished speaker, author and innovator in the IT industry. Jay is the principal analyst for global channels at Forrester – one of the most influential global research and advisory firms in the world.
Jay has led several communities at CompTIA including Vendor Advisory Council, Managed Services Community, Advancing Women in Tech and Emerging Tech. He is a past board member of Channel Partners, Channel Vanguard Council, Ziff Davis Leadership Council, and CRN Channel Intelligence Council.
As a futurist, and long standing member of the World Future Society, Jay is a recognized expert in the future of channels, alliances, partnering and the study of emerging go-to-market models. An avid blogger, community and social media expert, he has developed an innovative “dandelion marketing” approach engaging in a wide range of communities around the world.

Prior to joining IBM, was co-founder and CEO of several successful partner firms, most recently en Technologies, a leading IBM reseller/system integrator.
First began career as a software developer and publisher, having released one of the first 25 commercial programs in the early eighties for Apple’s revolutionary Macintosh.
An avid wine collector, athlete, author, amateur musician, and classic car buff, he lives life to the fullest under the beautiful skies of North Carolina.
Jay brings 26 years of marketing and customer experience expertise, and has worked with more than 700 companies, including 36 of the FORTUNE 500. In his keynotes, Jay teaches how to build businesses by giving customers a differentiated experience they notice and talk about.
Jason founded his first technology company while still attending high school. He has long track record of using his strong entrepreneurial spirit and technology expertise to grow businesses and create new opportunities. Before founding 360 in 2009, he was president and CEO with TMR, a marketing services company. Jason’s business philosophy is grounded in workplace happiness and having a strong commitment to community. To that end, he is also a founder and principal investor in City Flow Project, a localized Durham Region venture capital and tech incubator.
Jason lives with his wife and 2 children on their ever-growing organic aquaponics farm, and likes to play a bit of hockey and rugby when he gets the chance.
