1. Why did you join the technology industry?
I started my corporate career in technology as a late bloomer – in my early forties. I had some steep learning curves, but my company was just a few blocks away from my home and presented an invaluable opportunity to challenge myself. I never imagined myself in tech, but now I wouldn’t change a thing!

2. Who is the person who has inspired you professionally?
My sister, Jessica. As the youngest VP in her Fortune 500 company, she has broken ground as a woman and as an executive. Even though she’s my younger sister, I want to be like her when I grow up!

3. If you could give one piece of advice to your 13-year-old self what would it be?
Challenge yourself to believe that more possibilities exist for you than just getting married and having kids – be your own knight in shining armor!!!

4. How do you think we can encourage more women in tech?

It’s critical that young girls are shown female role models in technology from a young age – even as young as 8 – 10. Male-dominated stereotypes need to be kicked to the curb to make way for girls to have a career path in technology.

5. What is the best part of your job?
The best part of my job is that I get to work with amazing people every day. I’m surrounded by a fantastic team that continually helps me stretch and grow. My company is changing the way brands manage incentives and making the world a better place at the same time. What’s not to like?
