1. Why did you join the technology industry?
I joined tech to work with people – Smart, capitvating and driven people that are changing the world through products and services.
2. Who is the person who has inspired you professionally?
Jill Rowley inspired me early on in my career while we were at Oracle. She’s direct, respectful, honest, and most importantly she’s approachable / ‘human’. These are traits that I believe any successful leader inherently have.
3. If you could give one piece of advice to your 13-year-old self what would it be?
KEEP LEARNING! You may not know exactly what your path is now, and you may be stuck thinking about that next paper due, or that next basketball game to play, but remember to keep an open mind about your passions, and try to learn something new about the world and yourself everyday.
4. How do you think we can encourage more women in tech?
Continuing an open dialogue and continue some of the amazing thought leadership that has been created this year. So many awesome companies in the Bay Area today are focusing on empowering females in the workplace – we definitely can’t afford this to stop!
5. What is the best part of your job?
The best part of my job is being an adovcate for my customers. The “aha” moments that happen over countless calls and trainings throughout a given day makes working in customer success so meaningful. 🙂
